You can't. Ask yourself how much time you are spending on scanning, "cleaning" and all that, and compare that with re imaging system partition. That's the best solution for viruses, registries and everything else that can go wrong with your system. You installed your OS, made an image after installing software, drivers and all that, and you are good to go. And yes, having an image/s is a lot better then run some registry cleaner. One last thing, if you really want to use something, use CCleaner, I can tell you that if there is something called "reliable" registry cleaner, that would be CCleaner. Just leave the registry alone, its better to have few images of your system partition or whole computer then "clean" the registry. Ok guys,just one thing I want to share with you, Win 7 registry is NOT similar as XP, and it doesn't need a lot of "cleaning" by some registry cleaners. So, I'm not inclined to want to try another one. Even so, whether on first, second or third use, every one of them ended up making me wish I had never used it. The results aren't the least bit reassuring. I went to Robtex to check on this outfit. A Web site that holds you hostage until you chat with a salesman? Would anyone here knowingly go into a brick-and-mortar store that locked the door behind you and wouldn't let you leave until you talked to a salesperson? Decent people operating a legitimate business would never do anything like that. ![]()
